I recently asked this question on our facebook profile and via twitter. In case we haven’t thoroughly connected …
The question was :
These were some of the answers I got back:
So there you have it, Runners are tough and dedicated people.. sigh.. that means I need to stop acting like a little girl when it rains and just drag my butt out of bed.
I want to thank Karla Thomas, Chris Stelzer, Tony K, Lawrie Conway, Matt Wang and Kate Burles for replying to my tweet and basically telling me I need to suck it up…
On Facebook other runner shared the same idea about running in the rain
Thanks again to Ashley Colguhoun, Shahran Masood and Carly Kaehler for again confirming my issues with running in the rain and what it says about me . lets not make it akward by repeating it again
Happy Running!

There was a reason why I moved to Australia! So please no rain (BUT, would go)
When will you guys organise a first training in Sydney?

Alfons might be up for it! But I want to recover 100% first before I do some serious running again

You injured? Still going for the Half Marathon in a few weeks??
at 4:06 pm
Yeah mate, still injured. Getting better but longest I ran at the moment is 4 km…. Already have had 6 physio visits and will need a few more. Its a slow process of stretching and building up strength in my weak knee. Also stretching in general is something I need to do.. Worst case I have to drop down to 9km and will just have to improve my time.. So annoying…

Damn that sucks dude. I’ve noticed you going to the physio but I just figured it was the Swedish masseuse helping you fix your “back”.
Obviously don’t push it. I’ve had times where I was chomping at the bit to get out and run and I’d be sick or recovering from a very long run. Great thing is that there are just so many half marathons all year round. You’re young and got AGES of running in those legs!
Keep me posted on how things are progressing. If you ever need anything like stretch bands or kettlebells for the knee’s/quads/whatever you’re more than welcome to use my gear.

Haha mate I wish I could tell you it is a treat to go… it bloody hurts! Going to the gym tonight and just keep stretching and doing lunges etc. Just annoying it takes so long….
